Were you able to witness the Super Blue Blood (eclipse) Full Moon yesterday? Did you or your pet feel its influence energetically? Our Winnie (dog) sure did. For about a week leading up, she was pumped. Not surprisingly, since she was a pup, the full moon has caused various behavioural changes such as running through the house full tilt and jumping on and off the furniture. Animals are so sensitive to energetic changes and we should take a chapter out of their story book.
Back to us two-legged beings. Did you notice any changes in yourself but perhaps unable to track them? Were you able to settle? It comes down to self-awareness, part of one's divine mystery and how we are able to use this little gift in our daily lives. When one is observant of external energetic influences on the body, it is like an advance warning, gut feeling, intuition, to keep us safe, prepared, alert. Without awareness, we may energetically succumb and feel out of sorts without explanation. This type of self-awareness also helps to set boundaries.
Here's a little exercise to explore. While still fresh, find a quiet place to write down or journal your most recent experience with this full moon. Include significant or various feelings or experiences. Really listen, purposefully. It doesn't matter if you have to guess or have doubt in what you are hearing. The information is uniquely yours. Then track over the next couple of full moons and compare your observances. Nature amazingly transforms and integrates energy. It is naturally grounded and centered. If you are able, try this exercise outdoors in a place that resonates. It will heighten self-awareness naturally.
Once self-awareness is heightened, setting boundaries can be set, maintained more easily and at times, one can observe in advance how to respond in a given situation. Patience and practice is a good thing for this exercise.
I'd love to hear your story about your full moon experiences. Drop me a line through my contact page.
Wishing you many blessings during this onset of Spring. (Crocuses are already up in England)
P.S. Watch for Reiki class dates to be posted in March.
