So, are you ready for some self-care? Good. And, I'm ready to re-open Tender Heart Healing on Monday, June 15th for you.
I have to admit it’s been a bit of a roller coaster these last few of months. No doubt you have experienced it too.
Now, as we ease into our provincial Health Phase Two, our shared excitement might be to finally (with social distancing, of course) lie on the beach, stroll into a favourite store or perhaps go out and find something delicious, such as early strawberries from the Valley . . . try a haircut.
Right now, today, it feels like the world’s in a giant juicer and our self-care has likely suffered adjusting to this new reality.
But as the saying goes, when life serves you a lemon, you make lemonade.
And Summer is almost here. It’s the time to feel light and free, right?
To get ready, how about doing a self-care check-in.
Here’s a few questions for you:
Is this new way of living taking a toll on me?
Am I still feeling out of sorts, out of balance, with little to no energy?
Do I feeling like I’m carrying a heavy load?
When was the last time I did something nice just for 'me'?
If you've said yes to any of these questions . . .
Then maybe it’s time for some self-care! Time to de-stress!
As we’re moving toward Summer Solstice on Saturday, June 20th at 2:44 pm, it’s not too late to reset your energetic self in preparation for summer, feeling freer, feeling balanced.
A good place to start regaining your sense of well-being is with some personal care and attention found in Individual Sound Healing, Reiki, or Forest Bathing.
It’s all about finding that calm place within.
If you need a deeper dive to start anew, you can also re-harmonize your heart by releasing nagging concerns or find healing for old wounds that may have surfaced lately, with Heart Harmony.
Now that’s something to get excited about! Imagine starting Summer feeling light.
"Self-care is giving the world the best of you, instead of what's left over." Katie Reed
Okay. Let’s not let our guard down though. For your session . . . no worries!
I’ve changed things up a bit to keep us safe.
While your healing experience is my top priority so is your safety. Here’s what I’ve put in place:
Each client will be greeted at the door with hand sanitizer then proceed up to my healing room.
We’ll chat with our face masks on comfortably at 3 meters (6 feet) apart.
My Reiki table will have fresh linen that’s changed and washed after each client as per usual.
Each client will bring their own water bottle and a face mask (I’ll supply a mask if you don’t have one).
All integral surfaces will be sanitized prior to each appointment.
Unfortunately, the washroom will be closed for use.
Clients will arrive alone and remain outside until their appointment time.
During a Reiki or healing session, healing will be offered by a non-touch method.
For added protection, as the practitioner for Reiki and other healing modalities, I will be wearing a mask and face shield during the practical portion of the session.
All in-person appointments will be scheduled and staggered to allow time to sanitize surfaces between appointments and to minimize contact with others.
I've based my health and safety practices on WorkSafe BC’s guidelines. Check them out for further details.
As the wise Dr. Bonnie Henry said, “This is just for now and not forever. Together we will get through this.”
I'm looking forward to offering a lovely time of self-care to you, dear Client, once again. Book your appointment through the Inquiry Form or contact Reana at 778.928.5717. Questions are are always welcome.
Please note: Due to Covid-19, Tender Heart Healing will be offering services during reduced hours on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays until further notice. My apologies for the inconvenience.
May you and yours stay well.
Thanks to photographers Josè Luis and PhotoMix for the great pictures.
