It is widely know that Reiki reduces stress. And during this time, no one has gone untouched by the current world-wide health situation. Each of us has struggled, felt out of balance or stressed is some form or other be it emotionally, mentally, physically or spiritually.
And . . . that’s okay. It’s what makes us human.
Caring and compassion for others will help all of us get through this together. In light of this, I am offering complimentary ‘ME’ time with the loving healing energy of Reiki.
Reducing stress and inducing deep relaxation is the foundation of Reiki healing energy. It also helps balance your energy.
If you are struggling, feeling isolated, in need of some self-care, then join me for some complimentary Distance Group Reiki on Thursday, May 14th at 6:30 – 7:00 pm.
Prior to our time together, I will audibly mention each person’s name while in meditation and hold each person in intention during the Reiki session. For those who have taken Reiki training, you may want to just receive or offer Reiki at the same time. All are welcome!
If you would like to participate, please send a message to email@example.com along with your name.
How to prepare.
In preparation, where loose clothing and have some water handy to drink afterward. Locate yourself in a place where you will not be disturbed nor distracted. An eye cover is a good idea, with the lighting low or off. You may want to play some soft spa or reiki music while you comfortably sit with hands (palms up) resting gently on your legs or while lying down. Make sure that you will be warm enough and comfortable.
Allow Reiki to calm your stress.
Prior to the 30 minutes of Reiki, give yourself permission to stop the day’s thoughts, worries, planning and allow yourself to drift along in or with the music and absorb Reiki energy. If you prefer no music, that’s okay, too. Take in three deep slow breaths.
I will begin promptly at 6:30 pm.
You may feel tingling, warmth, coolness, muscle twitches, tummy gurgling, yawning. No worries, these are all ways the body releases tension and negative energy.
After our session . . .
Sit or lay quietly and slowly come back by wiggling your toes and fingers and slowly open your eyes. You may want to ‘Just Be’ for a while longer. Don’t worry if you have gone longer that the 30 minutes. Drink lots of water and treat yourself gently for the next couple of days. You may feel dozy, calm and relaxed and hopefully, sleep better.
I’d love to hear from you.
Reach out and let me know how it went. Or, if you have questions, contact me.
I plan to offer another complimentary session in a couple of weeks. Stay tuned for the next date! Until then, stay safe and stay well.
In grace, gratitude and Reiki
